چکیده
The genus Burkholderia comprises rod-shaped, non-spore-forming, obligately aerobic Gram-negative bacteria that is found across diverse ecological niches. contaminans, an emerging pathogen associated with cystic fibrosis, frequently isolated from contaminated medical devices in hospital settings. aim of this study was to understand the genomic characteristics, antimicrobial resistance profile and virulence determinants B. contaminans strain SBC01 eye a patient hit by cow's tail. A hybrid sequence isolate generated using Illumina HiSeq Oxford Nanopore Technology platforms. Unicycler used assemble sequence. draft genome annotated NCBI Prokaryotic Genome Annotation Pipeline. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing performed VITEK®2. genes were identified validated bioinformatics tools. assembled size 8 841 722 bp G+C content 66.33% distributed 19 contigs. Strain possess several efflux pump genes. susceptible tetracyclines, meropenem ceftazidime. Many encoding potential factors identified. belonging type 482 (ST482) multidrug-resistant containing genes, revealing risks infections new spp. large G+C-rich has myriad factors, highlighting its pathogenic potential. Thus, while providing insights into uncommon species, present analysis will aid understanding evolution speciation genus.

Acinetobacter baumannii multidrug-resistant strain MMC4 was isolated from a bronchoalveolar lavage fluid sample from a patient in Nashville, TN, USA. Here, we report a draft genome sequence with a size of 3,985,367 bp, an average G+C content of 39.8%, and 3,863 predicted protein-coding sequences.
متن کاملGenomic information on multidrug-resistant livestock-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus ST398 isolated from a Brazilian patient with cystic fibrosis
Alarmingly, the isolation of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has been increasing among patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). During a previous molecular characterisation of MRSA isolates obtained from patients with CF from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, one isolate was identified as the ST398 clone, a livestock-associated (LA) MRSA. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence o...
